Priyanka Chopra and ‘Ishaqzaade’ actor Arjun Kapoor started shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Gunday' in the outskirts of Kolkata. Priyanka was spotted atop a crowded truck laden with bananas and livestock and Arjun Kapoor was seen in a jeep.
Arjun plays the role of small time thief who later gets involved in the coal mafia. Most of the part was shot in Kolkata. Priyanka donned a simple girl and she was dressed in saree while Arjun has donned a rugged look. The director Ali Zafar has wrapped up the Mumbai shooting and headed to Kolkata to shoot the second part. The shooting took place at Belekhali in West Bengal's Anandapur on Wednesday.
The film is set in Kolkata in 70’s. It is about two boys, Bikram and Bala who grew up from a small time thieves to a big coal mafia who deals in crores. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film stars Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor along with Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan, in lead roles.
