Priyanka Chopra A.K.A Piggy Chops is stirring the world with her latest debut as a pop singer. The beautiful star is all filled with energy, promoting her first international single ‘In My City.’ She is right now in Los Angeles for the promotion of the same. She has spent quite a lot of time in the city (Los Angeles) to complete her album.

Priyanka, says she learnt to sing first and read later as a child. It was due to her father who is a singer and loves to sing that she incorporated music as an integral part of her life. The actor got numerous opportunities, to sing for the Bollywood industry but she put them all down, since she was a bit shy and wanted to give all she had to her acting.

Pee Cee’s first debut as a singer was for the Tamil movie Thamizhan (2002), she gave voice to the song "Ullathai Killadhe", and she was also offered to sing the song ‘Tinka tinka’ in her movie karam (2005) that she declined. Though she declined the offer she was seen singing the song in the television reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

It was in August 2011 that the diva signed an international recording agreement with Universal Music Group. The CEO of Atom Factory, Troy Carter who also manages Lady Gaga, was signed by Pee Cee.

Priyanka’s ‘In my City’ is already getting accolades from the international fraternity. Apparently the Jamaican reggae singer Sean Paul said “PC is a stunner! I have heard In My City … India is a talented country … With such a single; PC sure does have fans worldwide. I like her and I’d love to meet her.”

Whereas Enrique Iglesias said, “Priyanka Chopra … I got to meet her and also managed to see a few of her movies. I loved them! She is great and simply unbelievable” when he was asked “which Bollywood actress has his attention?”

He also quoted during his recent Bengaluru concert “I also recently heard her single, it was pretty good. I enjoyed it.”

However, Hollywood actor, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is also impressed with this Bollywood star, and is in love with Chopra’s voice. The Dark Knight Rises actor said, “I came across Priyanka’s new track and found the song very upbeat and refreshing. She is beautiful and extremely talented. The song is going on my iPod list.” To this, Priyanka replied with a tweet, “Thank u Joseph!”

The lady is sure to go places with her vocal chords and is all set to bring up a storm in the industry.
